‘Culture academy will promote socio-economic transformation’

The Chief Executive Officer of Culturati Academy, Idris Aregbe, has said Africa will attain the status of a developed continent, if the critical elements of culture are harnessed for development.

Speaking at the Culturati office while hinting the media about a forthcoming symposium titled, ‘Positioning African Culture as a Catalyst for Social Cohesion, Tourism Promotion and Economic Development,’ Aregbe said the symposium would hold at Freedom Park, Lagos Island on October 17, 2021.

He explained that the prime goal of Culturati Academy was to bridge the gap in youth unemployment, make graduates of the academy self-sustained manufacturers and economic agents.

“Graduants of the academy will not just be given funds to start their various businesses but there is a mechanism in place that will mentor, monitor and ensure such funds are judiciously spent on the purpose it is meant.”

Similarly, Aregbe said the 15th edition of the Culturati edutainment festival would hold on December 3, 2021 in Lagos.
