Graduating students of the Adeleke University High School, Ede, Osun State, have been told to continue with their academic journey without fear.
Addressing the students at the 5th graduation and award ceremony held in Ede, the Director of Adeleke Ventures, Mrs Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, also urged the students not to forget all they have been taught in the school.
Adeleke-Sanni, also advised the graduating students to put to use all they have been taught, adding that they would succeed with hard work, prayers, and dedication.
She said, “Face the world without fear. Don’t forget all you have been taught in the school. Be dedicated to your studies and work hard and success will be yours.”
Speaking earlier, the school principal, Dr Timothy Adetayo, said the school embraced complete education by exposing their students to mental and spiritual sides to learning.
Adetayo said children from many privileged Nigerians were attending the school, adding that despite the status of some of their parents, all student enjoys the same treatment.
The chairman, of the African Bar Association, (Nigerian Forum), Dr Samson Osagie, while delivering a paper at the event, called on parents to play their roles properly in moulding the character of their wards and allow teachers to enforce discipline on their children.
Osagie, an ex-Minority Whip in the House of Representatives, said parents remained the first teachers of their children and advised them to however allow their children to enjoy a certain level of autonomy to enhance their growth.
