EL-Amin varsity announces resumption date for new session

EL-Amin University, Minna, Niger State, has announced the resumption date for the commencement of the 2023/2024 academic session.

A statement by the institution said the first semester would commence on November 20, with arrival and orientation of students, and last for 18 weeks.

The statement added that lectures will last for five weeks before the Christmas break, while lectures will resume on January 2, 2024.

The mid-semester tests are scheduled to be held between January 22 and 27.
Matriculation for students is scheduled for February 22, while the first semester examination will be held between March 18 and April 7.

The statement also announced that lectures for the second semester will commence on April 8 and run for eight weeks before mid-semester tests start on June 3.

Second semester examination is billed to be held between July 29 and August 10.

EL-Amin University is one of the 37 new private universities recently licensed by the Federal Government.

The institution is backed by El-Amin Nigeria Limited, with retired General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida as the Chairman, Board of Trustees.
